I have always enjoyed working out, and trying to be fit. But, I was one of those people who went to the gym every day, worked out very hard and never lost a pound. Actually, I was consistently gaining 2 pounds every year.
In March I decided I was not happy with my job. The service was over my head, and no person took the time to help me understand it even when I asked. Women in the office were mistreated and treated as not being smart or less than the developers in the organization. We weren't taken seriously and given trivial job scopes at times. I got sick of it, and decided this is not for me. I colored my hair a rich brown & resigned in April and never looked back.
I colored my hair from blonde to a rich brown because I knew I would be taken more seriously when I did. Statement I guess!!
I got a job at a party plan company. They sent me out to California to a Direct Selling Association (DSA) conference. I learned all about party plan, multi-level and one-to-one marketing companies and how to start one. I was compelled to meet my friend Felicia for dinner two nights of my trip. She brought up a product, Isagenix. Her husband had sent me information several months before, but I thought it was just some fad diet that wouldn't work.
I returned from DSA, and things didn't work out with my employer. I was not being used as hired, and I was not being trained on the back office information to help me do my job. I knew the job wasn't for me when two weeks had passed, and the owner had not met with me once without my prompting. So, ties were severed after a couple months.
Good for me, I was able to get back to the gym and do the classes I enjoy without being rushed to get to an 8-5 job. I struggled with what I wanted to do. I love the gym, and I love being around people who like to be healthy. I thought, wouldn't it be wonderful if I could have a job where I can be at the gym all the time, own my own business, make my own hours and help people without going to get a personal training certification or something? ISAGENIX I thought.
I called my Isagenix sponsor and ordered the product, but I was not ready to take a leap into sales. I still wanted to find a full-time job, punch a clock, not get good raises while working my booty off for some CEO or shareholders I guess. I realized a long time ago I don't like working for a company or owning a small business. I want to work for big business with a good comp plan and a good product that I love, believe in and enjoy! Needless to say, it was right in front of my nose.
I took Isagenix, and started sleeping better, not crashing, having more energy for longer workouts, recovering from workouts quicker, not having cravings for bad food and drinks and loosing weight! I realized that this was my calling.
I feel I have worked all my life to have Isagenix in my life. I look forward to my journey with it, as it's only been 3 weeks since I made the decision. In that time, I went from Associate to Consultant and made my first little paycheck. More to come . . .
